Germany Goes Mad

Michael Schumacher's Formula One return at the Bahrain Grand Prix was a big hit. Almost twice as many German television viewers tuned in this year.
The seven-times world champion's comeback race was watched by an average audience of 10.5 million Germans on Sunday, compared to the 5.3 million viewers the season-opening event attracted last season as the 41 year old German driver finished sixth in a Mercedes car on his comeback after three seasons in retirement / hiatus.
This shows how important he is for Formula One. Time for the German marketers to get him behind their marketing campaigns!!!!

  3. He's got a massive fan base... I wonder what would be the figure all around the world compared to last year. I remember that in a social networking site orkut, his community had more fans than the Formula one community!!!!
There are different tools through which you can get to know the audience, such as Nielsen ratings or Nielsen meters etc

  4. If he has such a huge following, then the marketers will really be interested in him.
He might earn a lot from the sponsors too.
